Eddie Hearn, who promotes welterweight contender Conor Benn, would love to match his boxer against former world champion Kell Brook.
Last Saturday night at the Manchester Arena, Brook secured the most satisfying victory of his entire career - when he stopped longtime rival Amir Khan in six rounds of action.
Benn was eagerly watching from ringside. Afterwards, he promised to get a measure of revenge for Khan.
The unbeaten Benn is not the only boxer in the hunt for Brook.
Middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr. is also calling for a showdown with the Sheffield boxer.
On the back of major win, Brook will consider the possibility of retirement - but he openly admits that he'll entertain a lucrative offer to return to the ring.
Hearn, who promoted Brook for several years, has already spoken to his former boxer about the idea of facing Benn.
"The aim for Conor Benn is to become a welterweight world champion. As I said to Kell Brook last night, I think Conor Benn is the best welterweight in Britain. Now, off the back of that performance from Kell Brook, many will feel that he is," Hearn told The DAZN Boxing Show.
"Kell Brook against Conor Benn is a brilliant fight, brilliant fight One guy at the back end of his career, one guy a young rising star. Is it too early? Is it too late? I said to Kell last night, "Why would you even think about fighting Chris Eubank Jr, a middleweight, when you can fight a huge welterweight fight against Conor Benn?''
Benn is expected to return to the ring by April - with several names in the running to face him. One of those names is veteran Chris Van Heerden.
