WBC/WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) is the only fall target of British champion Chris Eubank Jr. (22-1, 17KOs).

Eubank and his famous father/trainer, Chris Eubank Sr., are confident they can beat Golovkin. They have ordered their promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, to get them a fight with Golovkin for the fall.

Golovkin is currently in talks to face Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. If that fight fall through for 2016, and many expect it will, the likely frontrunner for Golovkin is WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders - who holds the last remaining belt at 160-pounds.

Eubank Jr. is scheduled to defend his title against undefeated Tom Doran on June 25th as part of the Anthony Joshua-Dominic Breazeale undercard.

Hearn feels confident that Eubank would beat every opponent on Golovkin's record. The British promoter is not overly impressed with GGG's level of opposition, but he doesn't blame the unified champion.

"Yes [Eubank would beat all of Golovkin's opponents]. And if you look at Golovkin's resume, and it's not his fault..he'll fight anyone, but it's not that impressive is it. He's fought some world class fighters...Curtis Stevens was decent, [Martin] Murray of course, [David] Lemieux. Has he boxed an elite world fighter? Not really, not his fault," Hearn told IFL TV.

Hearn says Eubank and his father are pushing him very hard to get a GGG deal done, because they want to be the duo that hands the feared boxer his first career defeat.

"They are so confident. They are saying 'this is how we beat [Golovkin] and I know we can do it,'" Hearn said. "[They said] 'get us Golovkin. You understand me? Get us Golovkin.' They're obsessed with the fight, obsessed. They don't want any other fights. Of course they want to defend the British [title], but Golovkin is their only focus."
