HBO Splits Announcing Duties on July 14

HBO spans the country with a tripleheader of welterweight action when WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING: ARTURO GATTI VS. ALFONSO GOMEZ, KERMIT CINTRON VS. WALTER MATTHYSSE AND ANTONIO MARGARITO VS. PAUL WILLIAMS is seen live SATURDAY, JULY 14 (9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT) from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ and the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. An HBO Sports team will be ringside at both venues of the tripleheader, which will be presented in HDTV and in Spanish on HBO Latino.

The HBO telecast begins with Cintron vs. Matthysse followed by Gatti vs. Gomez. The evening concludes with the live telecast of Margarito vs. Williams.

Calling the Atlantic City doubleheader will be Bob Papa and Max Kellerman. Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant will be ringside in California. Unofficial scorer Harold Lederman will work all three fights from his Atlantic City position.
