Leading up to the super featherweight fight between Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera -- set for Saturday, October 6 in Las Vegas and airing live on HBO Pay-Per-View-- HBO Sports will present the exclusive back-to-back replay of two action-packed fights showcasing their considerable talents.
On Friday, October 5 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and Saturday, October 6 at 8:30 a.m. (ET/PT), HBO2 will replay Barrera vs. Pacquiao I 2003 and Hamed vs. Barrera 2001. On November 13, 2003, Pacquiao defeated Barrera with an 11th round TKO, making him a force in the featherweight division. In a 2001 fight of the year candidate, future Hall of Famer Barrera stopped the then undefeated and brash Prince Naseem Hamed with a unanimous decision victory.
The two fights will also be available to HBO On Demand subscribers and can be seen Monday, October 1 thru Monday, October 15.
On Saturday, October 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT, HBO Pay-Per-View will present Pacquiao vs. Barrera live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
