Robert Smith, secretary of the British Boxing Board, told Gareth Davies of The Telegraph that a flood of complaints were received after WBA heavyweight champion David Haye posted a joke on his Twitter account. Smith callled the joke “distasteful and unnecessary” and informed Davies that the British Boxing Board is considering disciplinary action.

Haye reportedly wrote - “Wife walk into bedroom & says to husband, ‘Shall I slip into something that will make you smile?’ Hubby replies, ‘Yes. A coma u ****!’”

Smith said: “This is a crazy thing to be putting up. Distasteful and unnecessary."

No freedom of speech with the BBBoC around.

Haye returns on July 2 in Hamburg against WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko.
