We are a little over a month away from WBO world light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (25-0, 23KOs) of Russia taking on IBF and WBA (Super) light heavyweight king Bernard Hopkins (55-6-3, 32KOs), 49-years-old, on November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Former two division world champion David Haye gave his thoughts on the upcoming clash of champions.
"I think it will be a great fight," said Haye. "One of the greatest boxers of the past, Hopkins, is entering the ring at 49 years old - it's crazy! But at the same time he is very technical. [Hopkins] is one of my favorite fighters of all time. I do not know how it ends, but I'll be very surprised if Bernard gets knocked out. [Hopkins' career], I've never seen anything like it. This will be a very intriguing fight, I'm looking forward to it," Haye said.
