WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has brushed off the brutal beating that Shannon Briggs suffered at the hands of Vitali Klitschko last Saturday in Hamburg, Germany. Briggs suffered facial fractures, a bicep injury, a busted left ear - and he's still currently hospitalized in Hamburg.

Vitali says there is a 50-50 offer on the table, without options, for Haye to face him in March. The British champion said he'll fight the Klitschko brothers when "he's ready" - and not when the "Klitschkos are ready." Haye defends his title against Audley Harrison on November 13 in Manchester, England.

“I’m not worrying about old-timers like Briggs. He’s years past his best. I’m sharper than ever, and I’ll get to the Klitschkos when I’m ready. For now, I’m focused on sending Audley Harrison down a one way street with no return,” said Haye to The Telehgraph .
