Neither fighter had any trouble making weight for Saturday night's junior welterweight fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Ricky Hatton tipped the scales at 140-pounds, and Paulie Malignaggi was a pound under at 139-pounds.

An estimated crowd of 2,500 Hatton supporters were at the weigh-in, were chanting Hatton's name and singing their usual chorus of Hatton songs. Malignaggi was not bothered by the hostile crowd, making hand gestures at them and walking off the stage after making weight.

Hatton thanked his supporters and promised to make them proud.
