In a recent interview with Sky Sports News , Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31KOs) told the outlet there is "not a cat in hell's chance" he will lose when he challenges WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (38-0, 24KOs) on December 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hatton said that he's found a new mean streak that has him more focused than ever.
"I've really got the hump," Hatton said. "I've got a nasty streak at the minute, there's not a cat-in-hell's chance he's going to beat me on December 8. With every punch I throw, even if it is shadow boxing, I've got so much focus."
Hatton admits to watching Mayweather compete on the "Dancing with the Stars" reality show and said that Floyd was not bad, but nothing compared to his own moves after a night of pounding down some pints.
"I believe he (Mayweather) is out of the dancing competition now," Hatton said. I saw a few clips of him and he wasn't bad actually, he's got a fair bit of rhythm about him. I was quite surprised. But he's still not as a good as me in Manchester after 12 pints of Guinness. He doesn't even come close."
