Former two division champion Ricky Hatton has issued a big warning to WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch. Hatton says Mikkel Kessler is the hardest fight for Froch in the Super Six Boxing Classic. Froch defends his title against Kessler in the second stage of the tournament on Saturday in Denmark.

If Froch is able to get past Kessler, Hatton is picking him to win the entire Super Six tournament. He thinks Kessler's style, more so than the other Super Six boxers, will present the toughest challenge for Froch.

"Kessler will be the hardest fight for him in the Super Six," Hatton said to ESPN UK . "He is the danger man, very big, very strong. This could be his trickiest fight. If he comes through I believe he'll win the Super Six."

Hatton obviously backs his countryman to win. He agrees Froch is very underappreciated when you take a look at his record and the type of fighters the Nottingham native has beaten.

"I do think Froch will win. The level he has been boxing at is absolutely unbelievable. He has struggled in a couple of his fights, but you have to look at the quality of those he has beaten," Hatton said.

"Look at them - Jean Pascal, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell. That is the highest of the highest level, one after the other. It shows he is a great fighter, that he is willing to fight all those champions in a short sequence. Froch is one of the very best world champions out there. If he can beat Kessler in his backyard it will be one hell of an achievement."
