According to ITV, promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, announced at the Hatton-Urango post fight press conference that a fight between Jose Luis Castillo and Ricky Hatton is a done deal for June. The fight will be on pay-per-view at a yet to be announced Las Vegas location. The exact date in June has not been set.

Hatton took a shot at the upcoming May showdown between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya by telling reporters that he expects the fight to be boring, while his bout with Castillo will be non-stop war.

"If you want to watch a chess match then De La Hoya versus Mayweather is the one to see. But if you want to see two guys knock the hell out of each other, come and watch us. It will be an honor to share the ring with Jose. You only become a great fighter if you share the ring with other great fighters, and that is exactly what Jose is," Hatton said.

Castillo was not happy with his performance after a near one-year layoff, but he was happy with the end result and also expects a war in June.

"I am happy with the result but not the performance. But my fight against Ricky is going to be a war. I was happy to see him win because I am looking forward to it," Castillo said.
