During a recent video interview, former two division champion Ricky Hatton blamed his retirement from boxing as the biggest reason for his struggles with drinking and drug use. Hatton's problem was exposed to the world when British tabloid News of The World recently published a video that showed Hatton snorting several lines of cocaine. Hatton entered a rehab on Monday.
“I am currently in the Priory (clinic) dealing with depression due to the fact I have not been able to cope with my retirement from boxing,” Hatton said in the video interview. “I have been binge drinking heavily and dabbling in other daft and silly things. But it will be the toughest fight of my life and I am here to win it.”
