Mexico's Hanzel Martinez 22-2-0 (17 KOs) became the official replacement for Panamanian Jorge Sanchez, to face the undefeated Cuban Hairon "El Maja" Socarras next Saturday August 15. The revised bout headlines the "Crowning of Champions" event to be held at Mana Studios Wynwood in Miami, Florida.
The WBC International Silver title will be at stake for the Socarras vs. Martinez fight, which is scheduled for 10 rounds. In addition, Arena Sports Promotions will present four more World Boxing Council regional title fights chaired by Mauricio Sulaiman, who quite possibly may attend Saturday night to this spectacular event.
In the co-main event bout, Cuban prospect Neslan 'Pitbull’ Machado who trains under the direction of Jorge Rubio, will face Mexican Christian Esquivel in another 10 round bout.
Socarras and Machado are confident in obtaining victories against their audience in Miami.
Glen Johnson, Marcus Upshaw, Maricela Cornejo and Moises Carrasquillo are scheduled to see action on the undercard.
