Shadalov floored Spaniard Alex de la Rosa, 10-1 (4 KOs), twice and won by scores of 98-90 twice and 99-89.
De la Rosa was over the 130 lb weight limit so the title was only on the line for Shadalov.
Super welterweight Paul Wall, 10-0 (7 KOs), won the vacant German BDB title as he stopped Antonio Fechner, 7-3 (2 KOs), in the third of a scheduled ten-rounder.
