It was reported in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette that promoter Lou DiBella is working on matching heavyweight contender Dominick Guinn against Little Rock's own Alvin Manley.

The match would be one of the main supporting bouts to Jermain Taylor's middleweight title defense against former junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma.
