Guillermo Jones (38-3-2, 30KOs) says he is confident that promoter Don King will deliver the mandatory fight with WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (25-1, 19KOs). Two weeks ago King won a purse bid at the WBA's offices in Panama, with a drop of $712,000. There is still no date or location for the fight. Jones is training in Miami and waits for the final word on the exact fight date, which King said would fall in April.

"Although there is no date or location that I know of, I know I will fight in April. I believe in Don King, and I am sure that the fight against Lebedev will become a reality. I have no doubts about my promoter, because he told me he was going to go to the WBA's purse bid with every intention of winning the opportunity to stage the fight, and he cares about my benefit," said Jones.
