At The Tank in San Jose, California, former two-time featherweight champ Robert Guerrero (23-1-1, 16 KOs) and undefeated Daud Yordan (23-0, 17 KOs) battled to a no-decision.
Both men caming out boxing. Guerrero was targeting the body in the first, while Yordan was focusing straight right hands. There was a lot of holding. Yordan shook Guerrero with a combination near the end of round one. During the second, Yordan was landing some good shots but then there was a clash of heads that opened up a cut above the right eye of Guerrero. Guerrero complained that he couldn't see to the ref and the fight was stopped per the advice of the ring doctor.
