A vicious body attack combined with violent uppercuts were the key punches that smoothed the progress of Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero’s (17-1-1 10 KO's) annihilation of Sandro Marcos (25-14-2 21 KO’s) at the HP pavilion in San Jose Ca.  The Ghost, coming off his first loss, had something to prove to himself and all his fans and critics.

In the first round, Guerrero dominated his opponent with a rangy jab and devastating shots to the body followed by nice uppercuts.  That same trend continued in round 2, but it was a violent left uppercut that landed flush on the face of Marcos that everyone was talking about, as blood spewed into the front row.  As round three started, Guerrero dropped the native of Mazatlán MX with a destructive left to the body.  With pain on his face, Sandro got up only to be pummeled by an onslaught of punches, as referee John Schorle halted the bout with 2:06 left in the round.

“After my first loss, some people were skeptical of my talent.  I had to send a message to the boxing community, that I’m worthy of a title shot.  All top dogs, bring it on” – Robert Guerrero

Next stop for Guerrero will be a fight at the Oakland Arena June 23rd televised live on Showtime (Opponent TBA).  For more information visit www.robertguerrero.com or www.goosentutor.com
