It was reported in the San Francisco Chronicle that Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero will make the first defense of his title on the undercard of the November 4 Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Carlos Baldomir pay-per-view, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.
Guerrero will put his IBF featherweight title on the line against No. 1-ranked contender Orlando Salido. Guerrero noted that because of his physical size and strength, he feels that in the next couple of years he will move up to several weight divisions, as high as the 140-pound junior welterweight limit.
