Former champion Robert Guerrero was shaking his head after reading the recent comments that were made by WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, who in a recent interview told reporters that Juan Manuel Marquez refused to fight him earlier in the year. Guerrero, citing Khan's own comments, says the British boxer turned him down earlier this year, and instead he took what Guerrero believes was an easier fight against Zab Judah. Before he reached an agreement with Judah, Khan told British reporters that Judah was a lackluster opponent and Guerrero made a lot more sense.

"Hey Ms. Con, keep talking about the guys who refused to fight you. Why don't you tell the world that you refused to fight me. Our promoter offered you the fight and you turned it down. Styles make fights and glass breaks. Stop hiding behind Freddie [Roach] and [Alex] Ariza. You are a con artist," Guerrero said.
