Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero was recently on the latest edition of BoxingScene.com's official audio show The Boxing Lab and discussed potential fights he’d like to have this year.

Guerrero and his team had been vehemently pursuing a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his May 5th fight date in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. But WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto secured the Mayweather opportunity, and now Guerrero has found himself looking for another opponent for his comeback fight. Guerrero is recovered from a 2011 shoulder injury.

A possible fight Guerrero would like, and has been wanting, is a fight with fellow Golden Boy stablemate Amir Khan.

"If there's a Khan fight available, let's do it. I'd be willing to smash on Khan. That's a fight I've been wanting since before he fought Peterson" said Guerrero. "I've been saying it time after time that to me, he's a frontrunner. When the tough gets going, he starts tying up and pushing and hanging on for dear life. And Peterson exposed it. It's just too bad it wasn't me that exposed it."

Another possible fight for Guerrero is Victor Ortiz who just had his rematch with Andre Berto cancelled due to Berto injuring his bicep during a sparring session in training camp. Guerrero expressed an interested in facing Ortiz and also took to Twitter today to call him out.

“Let’s give the fans what they want. Battle of Cali or are you from Kansas now?” Guerrero tweeted directly to Ortiz.

Guerrero is looking for an opponent to get back in the ring soon and Golden Boy has plenty of options to offer him. Guerrero himself said he’s ready for anyone.

“I’m ready to fight anybody. I’m ready to fight the best. Whoever it is. Victor Ortiz, Pacquiao, [Brandon] Rios, [John] Molina. Bring them all. Like I said I want to fight the best fighters out there. Let’s make it happen”.
