Super middleweight contender George Groves is ready for a rematch with IBF/WBA 'regular' champion Carl Froch - if he is given a rematch. Last Saturday night, Groves knocked Froch down on his back in the first round and outboxed the champion, hurting him numerous times, over the course of the fight.

A controversial ending in the ninth, as referee Howard Foster jumped in very quickly as soon a Groves got in trouble.

After getting his in-ring experience againt Froch, the younger man is confident he would come on even stronger in the rematch.

"If the rematch happens I will stop Carl Froch in six rounds. Adamant," he told skysports.com. "That's the improvements I have made already, without even stepping back into the gym. These are improvements that will let me know a little bit more about Carl Froch.

"I had made assumptions about Carl Froch through sparring, through watching him through the media and through watching his previous bouts. But again that is belief, not knowing. But now l have boxed him for nine rounds and I know a lot more about him. And I would approach it different."
