Super middleweight contender George Groves (19-0, 15KOs) has his sights set on a big showdown with IBF/WBA champion Carl Froch (31-2, 22KOs). Froch has grown quite angry with some of Groves' comments, where the young contender demands a crack at the titles. Froch has told Groves to beat some better opponents, although their mutual promoter Eddie Hearn is looking to match them up next summer.

"If it upsets Carl, I apologize. I don't mean to upset him of his legacy. He's a great fighter and he's world champion. I want to be world champion, but he's in my way. He says I need to be beat better opposition, but I'm ranked well and I've beaten good opposition. If the fight came up tomorrow I'd take it. If I have to wait a little bit longer, then so be it. I just have to be patient and keep knocking people out," Groves told Sky Sports.
