Drozd captured the world title on September 27 in Moscow with a dominating victory over longtime champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk of Poland. Drozd met with his promoter, Andrei Ryabinsky, and the current tentative return date is March 28th, and the likely venue for the fight will be in Moscow. Drozd would like to unify some titles in 2015 and wants to get WBO champion Marco Huck in the ring.
