The German heavyweight Granit Shala fights Alexandru Jur of Romania on Saturday in Unterschleißheim, Germany after Jur replaced the Ukrainian Bohdan Myronets.
Jur, 40, is 21-6 (8KOs), and lost a fight with the Irishman Tommy McCarthy for the European cruiserweight title in 2021.
Shala, 28 years old and 17-1 (6KOs), recorded his only defeat when challenging for the European heavyweight title in April 2024. His opponent that night, Oleksandr Zakhozhyi – another Ukrainian – stopped him in two, but he has since recorded successive victories.
On the undercard of the AK Promotion and Agon Sports fight night, the 8-0 (5KOs) junior middleweight Sam Ahmeti has been matched with Alexander Moreno, 8-2 (6KOs), of Colombia.
The bridgerweight Leon Harth, 22-6-1 (13KOs) and who fights out of Germany having been born in Armenia, will also fight against an opponent to be confirmed.
