Boxing returns to the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California tonight.

Adrian Granados will fight Gaku Takahashi at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, a suburb of Los Angeles.

The eight round bout will top a 'Battle of the Rising Stars' card, which is promoted by All Star Boxing Promotions.

Granados (15-4-2, 11 KOs) has fought some of the top fighters in boxing since making his pro debut since 2008. Granados lost by majority decision to Frankie Gomez (in 2011) and Felix Diaz (in 2014).

Granados lost a 10 round split decision to Brad Solomon on May 2, a fight in which a number of media thought Granados did enough to win. He has won his last two fights.

Takahashi (14-5-1, 6 KOs) has won his last three fights in a row, all in Southern California after fighting all his previous fights in Japan.

Former world title challenger Jose 'Shibata' Flores will fight Jose Hernandez in a six round super middleweight bout.

Flores (45-14, 26 KOs) has fought a who's who of fighters in a career that began 25 years ago this month.

The 43-year-old Flores has lost his last four bouts in a row. In his last bout, Flores lost a one-sided eight round decision to Abraham 'Abie' Han.

Hernandez (9-2-1, 4 KOs) has won his last three bouts in a row.

Unbeaten light heavyweight Ronald Mixon (3-0, 2 KOs) will fight Lamont Williams (6-6-2, 3 KOs) in a four round bout.

Four more bouts round out the card.
