Trainer Billy Graham is fuming over rumors of a split with former champion Ricky Hatton (43-1, 31KOs). The rumors began shortly after Hatton was knocked out by Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Dec. 8 in Las Vegas.

Graham, speaking to Daily Mail, called the rumors rubbish and plans to find out where they started. According to rumors, Hatton's team was pushing for a change after watching him suffer the first loss of his career.

"I’m really angry about this,” Graham said. “It’s not true and I aim to get to the bottom of it. These stories have been denied by Ricky and I’d like to know where they’ve come from. I tend to leave Ricky alone after a fight, but I saw him a couple of times in Las Vegas and he never said anything to me about this. I would have been able to tell if he was thinking about it. I was devastated after the fight. An American friend contacted me to tell me about stories that me and Ricky were going to split up. They’re definitely not true.”
