THE American promoter of world rated Filipino fighters Z Gorres and Czar Amonsot wants them back again in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 12 for more action.

Guilty Boxing Promotions chief Nick Rattena has informed Gorres and Amonsot’s handlers in Cebu City, Antonio L. Aldeguer and Sammy Gello-Ani about the schedule.

The opponents of the local hopefuls has not yet revealed, but Aldeguer and Gello-ani are interested after Gorres and Amonsot had impressive victories in Rattena’s card at the Orleans Resort Hotel in Las Vegas last February 3.

“Negotiations are on going for Gorres and Amonsot to go back to Vegas,” Aldeguer, owner of ALA Boxing Gym in Banilad in Cebu City, informed this writer yesterday.

The fight was a part of the their agreement for Gorres and Amonsot to appear more often in Las Vegas under Guilty’s banner.

In his second fight in the United States, the stylish Gorres (22-1-1, 12 KOs) shamed Mexican Jose Alfredo Tirado, earning unanimous decisions win over 10 rounds in the main event of Guilty’s card.

On the undercard, the Bohol-native Amonsot (14-1-1, 10 KO’s) defeated Cristian Favela, another Mexican, in their 8-round encounter.

Amonsot is currently the WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight champ and ranked No. 11 in the world by WBO.

Gorres, a former RP flyweight interim champ, is rated No. 2 in the world by WBO, top 10 in the International Boxing Federation and also ranked by WBC and WBA.

Gorres and Amonsot will fight again in Philippine shore in the same card sponsored by the ALA Fight Club.

Gorres aims to win the OPBF Super Flyweight diadem on March 18 at the Mandaue City Sports Complex.

Amonsot will duke it out with Thai Decho Bankluaygym in a 10-round non-title tiff on the undercard.
