Various changes have taken place to the Shaw Festival card on March 29 at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Prospect Tony Luis had been slated to face Mexico's Daniel Ruiz, but this confrontation has been removed. Instead, the super lightweight Andres Gorges (10-1-0) will take on former world champion DeMarcus Corley (37-16-1). In his most recent fight, on Oct. 30, 2010 in Michigan, Gorges had clinched the NABA with a split decision over Lanardo Tyner.
Another change that occurred, with teenage sensation Kamal Ibrahim (1-0-0) of Toronto facing Revlon Lake (4-5-2) of Guyana, who replaces James Carpio (1-1-0 ). Finally, fighting in the main fight of the evening, Brazilian Rogerio Pereira (16-1-0) will take part in a defense of the NABA super welterweight title against two-time Olympian Adam Trupish (8-0-0).
