Nine interesting fights will pack the card called "Boxing Xplosion" in Toa Baja. In the main event, José "Chelo" González and Andrés Navarro are expected to take part in a "civil war" on October 22 at the Coliseo Antonio R. Barceló.

The townspeople have been asking for Gonzalez (12-0 and eight knockouts) and Navarro (4-3-1 and four KOs) to clash. The fight is set for 10 rounds and 135 pounds.

"Besides the fight between Gonzalez and Navarro, we will show the audience many of the top prospects in the area, who will have the opportunity to demonstrate their quality in this event," said promoter Ivan Rivera, president of PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP ), the promoter of the event.

The remaining bouts are at a distance of four rounds, beginning with Luis Joel Gonzalez (5-0 and three KOs) facing Christian Reyes (1-4 and one KO) at 135 pounds, Antonio Sánchez (2 - 0 and two KOs) of Toa Baja, will face Samuel Hernández (0-1) of Isabela at 140 pounds, Carlos Lopez (1-0) of San Juan, will fight Jonathan Perez (2-0 and KO) of Moca at 135 pounds.

In addition, Jeffrey Acevedo (7-0 and six KOs) will face Aguada Carlos Garcia (3-7 and three KOs) at 147 pounds, Emanuel Rivera (2-0) of San Juan, will face Javier Rosado (0-2) at 115 pounds; Jovanna Fuentes (2-1 and one KO) will face Antonio Vera (0-3) at 112 pounds, rookies Alan Sanchez of Toa Baja and Pedro Rosa will fight at 150 pounds, while at 122 pounder Antonio Salgado (3-0 and two knockouts) of Vega Baja, will face an opponent to be announced soon.
