Oleg Hermann, manager of IBF/IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, is shaking his head at the lack of concrete communication from WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders and his promoter Frank Warren.

Since then, Hermann says nothing but confusion has come back in return. Initially Saunders said he was 18 months away from a fight with Golovkin. Over the weekend Saunders changed his tune and said he was ready to fight if his promoter approved.

"We made an offer to fight in April. But frankly I can’t take Saunders and his team serious and I don’t believe the fight is going to happen. Two weeks ago he said that he is 18 months away from the fight with Golovkin. Now he says that he’s ready to fight right now but it’s up to his management," Hermann said.

"His promoter says that Saunders is on vacation for several weeks and they wait for him to be back. They just point at each other and are not able to give a concrete answer. How it is possible to take them serious?"

Hermann and the rest of Golovkin's team are exploring their options, like IBF mandatory challenger Tureano Johnson but there are several names being evaluated.

"We have a mandatory challenger Tureano Johnson but we’re working on different options," Hermann said.
