The card featuring the mandatory middleweight showdown between Gennady Golovkin and Dominic Wade is coming together. The last addition to this show that is being staged at the Forum in Inglewood, California is undefeated junior lightweight prospect, Pedro Duran (13-0, 10 KO's).
"We're very excited, he's been training and he's going to make his first eight-round appearance on a great show with 'Triple G'k one of the best pound-for-pound fighters and we also have the co-main with Roman Gonzalez,"said his manager, Ricky Mota.
"And the venue, the Forum, the history that it has is unbelievable,"continued Mota, who says that they are in the process of finalizing an opponent."Pete was actually one of the fighters on the re-opening of the Forum with Top Rank with (Juan Manuel) Marquez. So it's great, he's excited, it's local and he's ready to do his thing."
Tom Loeffler, the managing director of K2 Promotions says more announcements will be made regarding this undercdard in the upcoming days.
