The New York State Athletic Commission has announced the officials who are going to work this Saturday's showdown between World Boxing Association/International Boxing Organization champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin and International Boxing Federation champion David Lemieux.

The fight takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. HBO Pay-Per-View will carry the event.

Referee Steve Willis has been selected as the third man in the ring. And he will have the support of veteran judges Glenn Feldman, Steve Weisfeld and Julie Lederman. The WBA supervisor will be Gilberto Jesus Mendoza. IBO supervisor is Ed Levine and IBF supervisor will be Darryl Peoples.

Lemieux (34-2, 31 KO) is making his first defense of the IBF belt, while Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO) defends his WBA crown for the 14th time, the IBO for the 12th and WBC-interim for the third time.

The winner will become the mandatory challenger to next month's battle between WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico and Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
