IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin is not being influenced by his Eastern Euro roots. He calls it right down the middle.
Regarding a potential fight between WBO 140-pound champion Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2, 16KOs) and eight division king Manny Pacquiao (55-52, 38KOs) - Golovkin gives Provodnikov absolutely no shot to win the fight. He feels Pacquiao will have an easy time with the Siberian puncher.
Pacquiao is slated to return on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Provodnikov and WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley are the two frontrunners to face the Filipino star.
"I know Ruslan and I respect him, but I think he is nothing for Manny. He is nothing. He don't have a chance with Manny. No chance. This is boxing, you know...I think he would be no problem for Manny," Golovkin said.
