It appears that the attempts by Don King to bring the Lamon Brewster vs. Andrew Golota WBO heavyweight title bout to Chicago's United Center on April 16th have come to a roadblock.

It appears that there is a problem with the scheduled date of the fight. Another event is booked in the United Center for the same day and has yet be rescheduled to a new date. The double booked date made representatives of United Center Joint Venture back off from completing the deal for the fight this past weekend. They were scheduled to complete the deal with King this past weekend in St. Louis but the meeting did not take place.

The event is set to be televised by HBO and King has his mind set on staging the bout in Chicago. king said that if he cant get the April 16 date in Chicago, he is willing to have the date changed. In the event the date is not obtained, King will ask HBO for the next available date that the network can televise the event. The heavy Polish population of Chicago will come out in full force to back Andrew Golota and King knows the event can bank heavy if staged in Chi-town.

"Either way, we're still committed to Chicago." said Don King
