Golden Boy Plans Vegas Card on Eve of Canelo vs. Khan

The match-up between WBC middleweight titlist, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) and Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is scheduled for May 7th at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which will be staged by Golden Boy Promotions. And it may not be the only card they put on that weekend.

They have designs on putting on another show the night before in 'Sin City' that will feature some of their younger prospects.

"That's the plan and yes, most likely we are going to do that,"confirmed Eric Gomez, the V.P. of Golden Boy Promotions."We don't have any fights, yet."

On the night before Alvarez's showdown against Miguel Cotto on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay, Golden Boy put together a show that featured the likes of Diego De La Hoya and Jayson Quigley that was part of their EstrellaTV and RingTVLive.com series.
