The Providence Journal reports that an order is expected from the WBC for a cruiserweight eliminator between Matt "Too Smooth" Godfrey (16-0, 9 KOs) and Rudolf Kraz (12-0, 9 KOs), naming a mandatory challenger to current champion David Haye.
Godfrey was scheduled to face Jeremy Williams on Saturday, but that event was canceled due to financial issues.
Haye, following his knockout of Jean Marc Mormeck for the WBC cruiserweight title, announced that he was moving back up to the heavyweight division, citing his difficulties in making weight for the cruiserweight limit.
