Heavyweight: Steve Cunningham tenuously holds onto his rating after a draw with Antonio Tarver, but there is room to move him down and out as fresh new Heavyweights, like Anthony Joshua just beneath him and the emerging Joseph Parker, make there way towards serious contention.
Cruiserweight: Krzysztof Glowacki ended the longest reign in the division in what might be the best fight so far in 2015. That victory elevates the previously unrated Pole to the top contender’s position. Huck slips a few slots and a rematch would be welcome by anyone who saw the first edition. Keep an eye on September’s clash between Yoan Hernandez and Victor Ramirez. It could be another gem at 200 lbs. Glowacki’s arrival forces Thabiso Mchunu out of the top ten.
Light Heavyweight: Eleider Alvarez had lady luck on his side in getting the close rounds over Isidro Prieto. It was enough to hold his spot in the ratings and earn Perez a spot in the top ten as well. Thomas Oosthuizen exits the top ten.
Jr. Lightweight: Having fought several fights at 135, and now challenging for a belt in October at that weight, Diego Magdaleno exits the top ten at 130. Romain Jacob enters the top ten.
