Negotiations between Team Kudryashov and Team Glowacki will resume once the WBO cruiserweight champion recovers from his latest injury, said World of Boxing owner Andrey Ryabinskiy during his talk with R-Sport.

WBO #5 and TBRB #10 ranked 200lber, who has never heard the final bell in his fights, has been looking for a date with Pole ever since the latter acquired his maroon belt in a Fight of the Year candidate against former long-time champion Marko Huck. However, by doing so Glowacki (25-0, 16 KOs) also acquired his injuries, which will lead to a couple of surgeries on his elbow and on his hand.

“Glowacki is injured right now, so it’s too early to speak about any negotiations. We should wait a bit. But our Polish colleagues are aware of our interest, and they are ready to communicate. As soon as time comes, as soon as Krzysztof is fully healed – and may God make his recovery faster – we shall resume our talks immediately. I think it’ll happen at the start of the next year”, said Ryabinskiy.

In the meantime, the Russian Hammer (18-0, 18 KOs) is about to face dangerously punching WBC #4 Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola (21-2, 19 KOs) for a vacant WBC Silver title on Nov. 4 in Kazan, Russia.

“Durodola is a dangerous lad. However, Dima has got up high enough not to face any softies. There are no softies at this level. We have nothing to do but to move on and fight the best. Dima has been ready for it for a long time, and he has what it takes to beat the elite”, continued WoB stalwart.

“I can’t say we are afraid of Durodola but we are aware. It’ll be a tough fight but Dima is ready”.
