In a recent interview with El Nuevo Dia, Trainer Felix Trinidad Sr. says the necessary work to beat Roy Jones Jr. is done, the Trinidad camp simply waiting for the fight to arrive. Jones collides with Felix "Tito" Trinidad on Jan. 19 at New York's Madison Square Garden. The bout is stipulated to take place at a catch-weight of 170-pounds.

"The work is already done. All that remains is some maintenance and fine tuning a few things before the day of the fight," Trinidad Sr. said.

Glen Johnson recently gave his thoughts to the Trinidad camp, regarding what is needed to beat Jones. Johnson knocked Jones out cold in 2004. But, Johnson also sees Jones as the fighter with the edge on fight night.

"There was a lot of logic in what Johnson said. Some of those things will be used for our victory, whether it's by knockout or decision," Trinidad Sr. said. "We already have our plan, and Glen's comments appear to have been made in good faith and we respect them, but the preparation of Tito is done. The work to beat Roy Jones is done. The only thing we are waiting on is the fight to arrive.”
