Former champion Glen Johnson (51-15-2, 35KOs) is training hard in camp for his scheduled bout with Lucian Bute (29-0, 24KOs), the IBF's beltholder at super middleweight, which is scheduled for November 5th at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec. Johnson recently appeared on BoxingScene.com's official audio show - "The Boxing Lab" - and discussed several topics.

I don't plan on returning to 175 any time soon. I'm going to stay at 168 for a while. 168 has a lot of life right and there are a lot of good fights for me at 168. There is really nothing for me at 175, besides a fight with Bernard Hopkins, but everything else I've already done. I'm glad that I can still make this weight and feel fantastic.

I was disappointed. Coming off the last pay-per-view show [Mayweather-Ortiz], I was disappointed. People didn't get to see a real fight. I know the average boxing fan, I can only imagine the criticisms that they have going on. As far as the incident itself. You can say Dawson shoved him, I don't know if that's a dirty move or not. I guess it all depends on the person. It is what it is. I expected to see a fight between two great warriors and it ended up being what it is.

No doubt, I certainly believe that. Anybody that I step in the ring with, I'm going to be their toughest challenge because I have a style where a lot of fighters don't fight like me, so a lot of fighters haven't fought someone like me. It's always going to be a tough challenge [for the opponent].
