The Roy Jones Jr. vs. Denis Lebedev cruiserweight showdown will headline a event, promoted by Vladimir Hryunov (in association with John Wirt of the Square Ring) on May 21 at “Dynamo” Arena in Krylatskoye, Moscow. Several more stern match-ups will fill in the undercard of the event.

IBF #5 bantamweight Alexander Bakhtin (26-0, 11 KOs) will continue his search for glory against former WBC flyweight king Medgoen Singsurat (72-6, 49 KOs). Glass-chinned and badly faded Singsurat isn’t  what he was used to be but he will still be one of the soundest names on Bakhtin's ledger. He is best known for his knockout victory over #1 fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao, back in 1999.

2008 Beijing super heavyweight bronze medalist Vyacheslav Glazkov (9-0, 6 KOs) continues his rapid rise in class in a dangerous ten-round affair against Nigerian upset specialist Friday “The 13th” Ahunanya (24-6-3, 13 KOs).

“This will be a thrilling fight”, commented Hryunov. “Personally, I consider Glazkov to be the best Ukrainian heavyweight at the present time, and he is also well-known to local public. Ahunanya also needs no introduction; his stubbornness and will are universally praised”.

In another ten-rounder, James McGirt Jr. (22-3-1, 11 KOs) takes on Maxim Vlasov (19-1, 10 KOs) at a super middleweight limit. Interestingly, Vlasov is a teammate of Ruslan Provodnikov, who is trained by none other than Buddy McGirt Sr. Glazkov ia promoted by German Titov.

The undercard will tentatively see WBC #5 light heavyweight Ismayl Syllakh (15-0, 12 KOs) in the second defense of his NABF title. His opponent will be announced later.

Rising lightweight Yaundale Evans (13-0, 9 KOs), fresh of his victory over T.I. Yamagata Aguelo this past Sunday, will test his skills against hard-hitting Uzbek champion Bekzod Nabiev (17-2-1, 12 KOs). Also on the card is a Russian super bantamweight champion Andrey Bogdanov (12-1-1, 4 KOs), who will take part in a six-rounder.
