Mexican puncher Giovani Segura (28-2-1, 24KOs) is back and ready to step into the ring. According to Segura, he is now a promotional free agent and willing to face any boxer out there. Segura has not fought since last December's TKO defeat to WBO flyweight champion Brian Viloria. On September 29th, Viloria is going to face WBA champion Tyson Marquez in a flyweight unification. Segura wants the winner, but prefers to get Viloria for revenge.
"Now I have no obligation to anyone. I hope to receive some proposals from promoters and see what the best option is. I'm ready to fight anyone and anywhere. I want to face the winner of Viloria-Marquez, but personally I want to fight the Filipino because I have some unfinished business with him. I acknowledge that I lost, but I want a rematch," Segura said.
