Super lightweight Luca Giacon, living in Spain but fighting out of Italy, could be fighting Belgian Steve Jamoye (16-0) for the vacant WBC Silver title on March 21 in Milano on a OPI 2000 promotion, writes espabox.

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman is currently in Milan to talk business with OPI 2000 promoters Salvatore and Christian Cherchi, who go back a long way with the WBC and have excellent connections there.

Giacon (26-1) have previously held the EU and WBA Continental belts but the sole loss this far came in the biggest fight of his career when he was stopped in two by Emiliano Marsili in a shot at the then vacant EBU lightweight title.
