WBC cruiserweight Giacobbe Fragomeni (26-1, 10 KO) will make his mandatory defense against former IBF belt holder Krzysztof "Diablo" Wlodarczyk on March 28 in Rome or Milano (Italy).
A purse bid scheduled for January 9 was cancelled as OPI 2000 (Fragomeni, Italy) and Bullit KnockOut Promotions (Wlodarczyk, Poland) had reached an agreement. OPI 2000 will promote the fight.
