Unbeaten super middleweight prospect George Groves (10-0, 8KOs) has vowed to batter James Obede Toney out cold this coming Saturday night. Toney has been in there with some good fighters, including Lucian Bute, and he wants to take out the inexperienced Groves. The rising British star has other plans in mind.

Groves watched several tapes of Toney and says the veteran has never been properly knocked out. Groves doesn't want to stop Toney, he wants to become the first fighter to knock him out cold.

"He's been there before and fought higher profile guys than I am. He's boxed world champions and fought in massive arenas around the world. However, I don't think he's fought anybody that is going to hurt him the way I will on Saturday. He's got a good chin, good power and he's never been properly knocked out. He's been stopped on his feet a few times, but never properly cleaned out," Groves told Sky Sports.

"That gives me the incentive to go out there and land the bomb that puts him away. I'm really keen on getting him out of there in style. This fight could go short or it could go long, and I'm ready for whatever he brings. If I execute the game plan we've got prepared for him, there is no way Toney gets out of the first few rounds."
