This coming Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, In the co-main event, super middleweight contender Ronald Gavril (18-2, 14 KOs) will get his rematch with WBC world champion David Benavidez (19-0, 17 KOs).

They first collided last fall, which ended in a close twelve round decision in favor of Benavidez. Because there appeared to be some controversy over the outcome, the World Boxing Council ordered a rematch.

The rematch will serve as the Showtime televised co-feature to the ring return of two-division world champion Danny Garcia (33-1, 19 KOs), who faces Brandon Rios (34-3-1, 25 KOs) in a welterweight bout.

Gavril, who dropped Benavidez for the first time in his career, believes he did more than enough to win - and this time he doesn't want to risk possibility of the second fight going to the scorecards.

"I've been working and training really hard for this fight. I still believe I did everything to win that last one, but I am ready to prove everyone wrong. I will be the next WBC super middleweight champion. Last fight was a battle, but this fight will end in a knockout," Gavril said.

Gavril admits that he needed a few rounds to figure out the style of Benavidez.

This time around, he plans to make the fight a lot quicker and aims to go hard with the offense in the first half.

"Last fight I was able to figure him out toward the middle rounds. This fight I will be quicker to download his plan and attack. I proved that I have the skills in the first fight. Now I have to make my adjustments to get the win. I am here for a reason. It's not going to be an easy fight for him," Gavril said.

"I feel quicker, stronger, and more mentally prepared. I know he is going to try and switch up his game plan for this fight, but my team has been preparing me for anything that he may try and bring on fight night."
