Gabor Veto will defend the little regarded GBU jr. welterweight title on April 21 in Chur, Switzerland, against Ugandan veteran Justin Juuko.
Veto hails from Hungary but resides in Switzerland. He has a somewhat inflated 27-0 record, having built his career on the many obscure GBA (German Boxing Association) sanctioned shows in Switzerland and Germany against even more obscure opponents.
Veto has also appeared on the undercards to some of the Klitschko fights in Germany.
Juukko, well past his prime as he is, is the best fighter Veto has faced and his management team is now determined to try and move Gabor in position for bigger fights.
The show in Chur will be supervised by the BDB, the German Federation and Veto is now licensed by them.
