Middleweight Gabriel Rosado will fight once-beaten Antonio Gutierrez on June 4, Golden Boy Promotions Robert Diaz told BoxingScene.com.
The 10 round bout will take place at the Stubhub Center in Carson, Calif. The bout will precede the HBO 'Boxing After Dark' broadcast, which will be headlined by the 12 round junior lightweight bout between WBC world titleholder Francisco Vargas and Orlando Salido
The Rosado-Gutierrez bout will likely be broadcast live on RingTVLive.com.
Rosado (22-9 1 NC, 13 KOs) was victorious in his last bout on December 19, winning a 10 round unanimous decision over Joshua Clottey.
The victory snapped a five-bout winless streak, where he lost to the likes of Gennady Golovkin, J'Leon Love, Peter Quillin, Jermell Charlo, and, most recently, David Lemieux.
Originally from Philadelphia, Rosado began working with trainer Fernando Vargas in Las Vegas prior to the Clottey fight.
Gutierrez (20-1, 9 KOs) will take a significant step-up in opposition on June 4, having only faced six fighters who have winning records.
The Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico resident has won his last three bouts in a row since suffering his only defeat as a pro to Paul Valenzuela in May of last year.
