Over the last few days, the hype has exploded for a potential showdown between super middleweight former champion Carl Froch and IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin, who would move up in weight to take the fight - and travel over to the UK to give Froch home advantage.

Froch is still on the fence regarding his future. He's been inactive since last May's knockout victory over George Groves before a massive crowd of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Even his promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, has no idea if his boxer will ever lace up the boots again.

Hearn has a good feeling that if HBO places the right financial offer on the table, it may persuade Froch to fight - at least one more time against Golovkin.

If Froch decides to fight again, Hearn sees Golovlik as the likely opponent.

"I don't know if Carl will fight again. If he does it will probably be Golovkin. Everyone is talking about the fight and HBO is talking about the fight, but let's see what kind of money HBO brings to the table.  If its the right deal, I think he'll fight again. I think Golovkin flicks the switches for Carl Froch and I think he's interested in the fight. If he fights again I think it will probably be Golovkin, but [Froch] may not fight again," Hearn told BoxingScene.com/Be Real TV.
